Local processing

Selected images and recognized text are processed in your browser. BrowserOCR does not provide an upload endpoint, cloud OCR fallback, account system, ads, or custom analytics.

Network requests

Your browser requests application code, ONNX Runtime files, and OCR models from browserocr.com. High accuracy model files are requested only after your confirmation. Image bytes and recognized text are not placed in those requests.

Device storage

A service worker caches the application and model resources so they can work offline. Your selected model preference is stored in local storage. Clear this site's browser data to remove both.
